Since my early school days, I loved to create several types of arts and crafts, as well as painting. All of these activities helped me to explore the creative side of my personality and to develop the essential skills required for a successful journey. I soon realized that creativity was much more than a mere form of entertainment. The crochet craze started in 2020, when we were all stuck at home due to COVID-19. I decided to try my hand at crocheting, and I found it incredibly rewarding. It seemed magical how a ball of yarn was transferred into something beautiful and useful.

I was immediately intrigued, and with my mom's help, I started my first project. It looked complex, but with her guidance, I was able to learn the basics of crochet. I found the process of creating something with my own hands mesmerizing. Indeed, it was difficult in the beginning. Despite my initial frustrations, I was determined to learn. I read up on the basics of crochet, watched tutorials online, and practiced a lot until I got a hold of the technique.

 

Eventually, I could create a beautiful piece that I was proud of. My first project was coasters, which I gave to my mom. I took this as a starting point for future projects and began to experiment with more complex pieces, crocheting small stuffed animals, birds, and Christmas decorations. When I got a chance to visit Expo 2020 in November 2021, I was so fascinated by Opti, Alif, and Terra that I forced my mom to get me the soft toy key chains. Because it was expensive, my mother only bought me Opti and said we could get the other two later. However, I was adamant about getting the other two as well. I was so inspired by these colorful characters that I decided to replicate their designs using my crochet skills. I tried creating my own pattern by looking at the images. My parents were surprised and amazed when I completed the project. It looked very much like Opti, Alif, and Terra soft toys. This was something I had created on my own, without anyone’s help. Now I didn’t want them to buy it because I could do it on my own. Having confidence that I could manage crochet patterns on my own and wanting to share and promote Expo 2020 robot mascots done with crochet stitches, I thought of creating a YouTube channel under the guidance of my parents. Launched in February 2022, it is named ABR Creations Intitute.

 

Fast forward to the year 2024, and this is where ABR Creations Institute to a major step. I decided and thought to myself that instead of creating one main channel, why not create 3 separate channels, each for crochet, keyboard, and digital art? So after 6-7 months of hard work on this website, I have re-developed everything to make them all distinct and separate from each other. And that is when on the 15th of August, 2024, 2 more new channels were created; The main channel was renamed to "The Crochet Institute", and the other 2 channels were "Piano Lessons with ABR Creations" and "Digital Design".

​

So that is all about how ABR Creations Institute was in the past, and how it will continue to develop in the future.
